Safari holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a focus on diplomacy and foreign policy from United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa). He is passionate about advancing refugee livelihoods through economic inclusion and quality education. Drawing on lived experience and professional expertise, he has led community-based initiatives that promote durable solutions for displaced populations. He served with Alight Uganda as a case worker in MHPSS and Community Services, supporting crisis interventions and linking individuals to psychosocial, social, and legal services.
Safari is also the Co-Founder and Relationship Manager at Zonima SMC Limited, a refugee-led enterprise offering financial inclusion and supply chain solutions. His work fosters refugee self-reliance, dignity, and leadership in development, creating employment and driving inclusive, community-centered progress.
