Muon possesses extensive international development expertise coupled with a notable interdisciplinary social science scholarship. With a background in forced displacement settings, Muon is committed to exploring social impact investment’s potential for disadvantaged groups like refugees. Previously, he held research roles at Human Rights Watch and the British Institute in Eastern Africa, focusing on the intersection of forced displacement and governance norms in host and fleeing states.

Muon holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing an MPhil in Development Studies at the University of Oxford.
