She has a decade of humanitarian NGO leadership experience in places like Kenya, Uganda and Iraq and later led renewable energy and clean cooking initiatives in refugee-hosting regions of East Africa as COO of Mandulis Energy. Previously at Airbnb, she managed global grantmaking to support displaced communities, advancing innovative models for emergency housing and crisis response. Alex holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York and is passionate about market-driven solutions that promote economic inclusion and climate resilience.
